Festival kave ob jezeru 2026

Autumn brings misty mornings, shorter days, rain and forests slowly turning into warm shades of red, orange and gold. As nature begins to slow down and mornings become increasingly difficult to escape, it is the perfect time for something that wakes us up, warms us and brings people together. A good cup of coffee, of course. Together with Društvo ZDOB, we are therefore preparing the second Festival kave ob jezeru, taking place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 10:00 onwards at Terrasa by the lake near Podpeč. Following the success of last year’s first edition, the festival returns with an even richer programme, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to enjoy coffee and good company. Visitors will have the chance to meet boutique coffee roasters and discover the diversity of coffee flavours, aromas and brewing methods. The festival stands will also feature coffee equipment, handmade cups, coffee liqueurs and cocktails, as well as a selection of delicious coffee-inspired desserts. ZSKS is proud and happy to support the Festival kave ob jezeru and initiatives that contribute to the development and promotion of coffee culture in Slovenia. We believe that events like this are a wonderful opportunity to bring together coffee lovers, roasters, professionals and the wider community, while discovering and celebrating the rich world of specialty coffee. When the daytime programme comes to an end, the festival will move into the world of music. The evening will be dedicated to blues and rock'n'roll, accompanied by relaxed conversations, good coffee and great company. At the Društvo ZDOB stand, you will be able to warm up with roasted chestnuts and even take a look at the bottom of your coffee cup. Who knows – perhaps it will reveal a little clue about your future. See you on 10 October by the lake in Podpeč!
